Superintendent

Job Description

Brighton Homes is seeking a residential Superintendent to join our outstanding construction management team. Our Superintendents drive the successful construction of single and multi-family homes in Davis, Salt Lake and Utah counties.

Current staffing needs are for projects in Utah County 

Applicants must be positive, professional and motivated to uphold the expected standards throughout the entire build process

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the construction process for single and/or multi-family homes
  • Manage overall job site/community presence and work activities
  • Maintain site safety and environmental compliance requirements
  • Manage trades, trade activities, durations, timelines, etc.
  • Maintain adherence to plans, specifications, code requirements, options/selections, scopes of work, etc.
  • Maintain accurate and reliable schedules,
  • Approve completed work and associated PO payment releases and/or invoices
  • Coordinate inspections and/or interactions with jurisdictional authorities
  • Maintain job site and house cleanliness
  • Perform quality assurance duties with a high level of attention to detail; uphold company quality standards
  • Ensure successful home completions and deliveries
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years minimum experience in residential construction – specific experience in multi-family, condos and/or apartments is a considerable benefit
  • Experience in all aspects, phases, etc. of construction from dig to completion
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Degree in a related field is a plus, but not required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to use technology tools – computer, smart phone, etc.

  • Ability to motivate trades, workers, others, etc.
  • Adaptability
  • Physically able to perform the required duties of the job: walk houses and job sites, climb stairs, bend, reach, lift/carry items in excess of 50lbs, etc.
